Little Things..

Forwarded email from Tumbleweed that really keeps me thinking and hope it does for anyone who read this ...

The Little things

After Sept. 11th, one company invited the remaining members of other companies who had been decimated by the attack on the World Trade Center Towers
to share ! their available office space.
At a morning meeting, the head of security told stories of why these people were alive... and all the stories were just:

the 'L I TT L E' things.

As you might know, the head of the company survived
that day because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
his turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
because of an auto accident.

One of them
missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
time to change.
car wouldn't start.

One went back to
answer the telephone.
One had a
child that dawdled
and didn't get ready as soon as he should have.
One couldn't
get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man
who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
took the various means to get to work
but before he ! got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.
stopped at a drugstore
to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.
Now when I am
stuck in traffic, miss an elevator,
turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
all the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
this is exactly where
God wants me to be
at this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be
going wrong,
the children are slow getting dressed,
you can't seem to find the car keys,
you hit every traffic light,
don't get mad or frustrated;
God is at work watching over you!

May God continue to bless you
with all those annoying little things
and may you remember their possible purpose.

Thank you Tumbleweed!!

Emerald look Alike

Being a primary school teacher I always see cute, baby like faces in my class and other classes that I teach.  Minus the character, I always observes these three little girls that resembles my Emerald.  Will she be growing like them, I wonder.  This evening before class ended I took these students picture with my hp and you have the chance to see which face resembles more to Emerald...So far I didn't find faces that resembled Darrell, but hope to catch one in the coming intake ..
Nevvia (the quiet type)
 Chrisella (the serious type)
Bibiana (the cheeky one, always on the move)

My Place..

Today hubby went with his friend to the wood ( hutan kaka) to see some trees there and he took some pictures of Keningau - (my place) from the hill top..

hope that the green will lasts...

Mummy's helper in the making..

Weekend is regarded as precious moments to me.. agree? Anyway when its Friday, I
usually leave the plates and everything from the Friday's dinner in the sink to be washed and cleaned the next day. Saturday is the day to stay in bed longer..But what happened this Saturday makes me woke up fully when Emerald started washing aka playing with the soap and makes it bubbly. She didnt hear me coming behind her and I had this idea for my new post and managed to take some shots of her 'washing' . She already had her pants off leaving only the diaper still on. Actually her pajama already wet, only when she saw me then she said "sowwie mummy.". Anyway I regard this as a positive attitude of her towards helping me in the future, just leave out the 'soap playing' in the bracket.. She did know she was caught in the act...

busy ..

bubble time..

sowwiee mummy..

The Creek

Far at the back of the house behind those lushes plants and trees there's this creek flowing..Its water becomes the best source to flood the paddy field which is still on planting the seedlings..I found the sounds of the water flowing peaceful and soothing but the soothing effects didn't last for long when some ants or the Kerengga or kulirangga my mum used to say, or the weaver ants - bit my feet.. sucks..

can u hear the sounds of the water flowing..

managed to take only three pictures, those mean ants..

Darrell's 7th Birthday..

Last night was Darrell's 7th birthday - 15th sept 2008. Today is a public holiday 16th sept Malaysia Day and the TYT's birthday as well. As usual we celebrated it among the family members only...I'm not a party person be it to hold, much as to join a party..I just enjoy being in the house celebrating the birthday..
the photographer was the daddy, Darrell as usual hate cakes, especially colorful ones, I have to hold him to cut the cake..

Darrell was already tired of everything, the sister was hoping that the birthday party was hers.

Finally Darrell managed to smile as the eating and the cutting of cake was over..Outside was the full moon again and I managed to take the moon picture but in the picture it looked like a distant small light..

Clouds ...

Today I had a walk, not far, just ending here around my house surroundings but there's more to see when you are stuck on the house and to work all the time...
Today is kinda hot, the sun shines brightly with a blue cool sky and there were so many clouds on the sky, I think the clouds were the cumulus clouds which means fair weather since they have the appearance of floating cotton...
the cloud on the middle right looks like a bird flying ( use your imagination)

again the bird clouds spreading his wings..

..Given suitable conditions, however, harmless fair weather cumulus can later develop into towering cumulonimbus clouds with powerful thunderstorms. (quoted from internet source)

Cumulonimbus clouds....I still remember the geography lesson since these types of clouds signal a rain is forming.. Anyway rain or not I don't mind as these clouds inspired me to imagine things on the sky..hoping to catch anything strange only ending up with this shape, hey I can use this clouds to teach shapes in a form of a triangle look alike.. wink2..

sort of...

Love ..Pass it on..

Love is a far better thing than hate. As I look back upon my life, I often think things that me angry, but seldom I regretted having made amends, having forgiven, having made an effort to love my enemy. This is the fact that one tends to forget Him when there's nothing to worry about and only remembers Him when trouble comes...( its not that I'm in trouble right now) but deep beneath my heart there's always this small voice silently whispering the melancholy love of Him urging me to love Him back for the life and daily good things that He has given me in my selfishness of time, and everything towards Him not that I have forgotten only I don't remember to appreciate. Time maybe short and we don't know about tomorrow and what it will it better or worst, I know I'm not prepare..I know that Believing Him is my best Guide but why forgetting is the question..
Looking at the world today and everything around us, we do know that His coming is approaching...Earthquakes, tsunami, endless war on the other side of the world, famine, drought, flood, violence, crime, the list goes on...yet no one knows when is exactly the 'time'..
Now that I'm on the thinking , I should learn to be grateful in everything that is coming on my way, a boring week should end here with a positive mind let love cast upon me always and to all students who are having the UPSR exam I wish them success... sometimes at this age, years alone are not enough to understand His Love..

Learn to love and be sharing for the day..

1 Corinthians 13 :4

4-Love is patient
Love is always kind
Love is never envious
or arrogant with pride
nor is she conceited
and she is never rude
she never thinks just of herself
or ever get annoyed
she never is resentful
is never glad with sin
but always glad to side with truth
whenever the truth should win
she bears up under everything
believes the best in all
there is no limit to her hope
and she will never fall.

13-Right now three things remain, faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is LOVE.

Lets pass his Love to everyone Today to make a better Tomorrow than Yesterday..

A bored week

Apparently  it's a boring week here at Blog Cabin..
I hate this week, a week where I have to leave my kids and off to work early in the morning, and leave them to my in laws to be taken care of.  School gets me hooked up......

Normally I go to work around 12 noon but not this week.  As the Year 6 students are having their UPSR exam starting tomorrow, all the teachers morning and afternoon sessions are expected to be in school in the morning as well..During the past, the teachers will have a break during the students' exam but back to 2,3 recent years no breaks are given according to the general order of A to Z..

Its not that I hate school or students or whatsoever but all this morning activities disturbs my daily routine with my son to his rehab, to his class and the meal they take.  To be there is to be there to show your face then doing nothing except gossiping, tell tale and waiting the minute to fly home.  Some are given work related to their duties and incharge of the Year so and so but not us from the level 1,2, 3.  Then to fill the space noticed, micro teaching course will be handled for two days.  Back to square one huh!

The whole thing is bored and stressful, of course, but not nearly seen so much on the outerside of me,  sometimes I wonder if one becomes a leader he or she needs exaggerating acts to show the power manifested.   Thats the reason why I'm fit to be an on off follower...If there's no one like me and my traits the world wont be as colourful as it is eh..But the point is, I'm trying to strike the balance, of being a career woman

and a mommy............................

A look outside ...

A look outside my place giving me this peaceful scenery...............

flooding paddy field

Seedlings paddy in one corner

a flooding paddy field is on progress, some farmers are seen getting ready with the double cropping.. Frogs will be heard having congregation band providing us with a night cacophony also signals a food source for the farmers. Frogs meat taste like chicken meat so they said..this is not the regular frogs that you can see hopping. These frogs are called "Katak Taiwan" in my place or eatable frogs aka exotic food. In other places some eatable frogs like the American Bullfrog and the Tiger frog are bred for their meat and exported to other countries. During night time I can see flashes of torch hunting for these frogs..hey I'm getting all frogging here..

a borrowed American Bullfrog

Outside on the other directions rain is again seen coming towards my place, this is a 'disaster' for tumbleweed if she happens to be on her way home from work hehe except that she is fortunate as today is Saturday..

A coming rain

A breathless sight seeing the gloomy sky..

before ending, some poses from Emerald and Darrell again to make my day...

not the right time to pick her nose...
