Just wanna show some pictures I took during my endless journey to the city, perhaps its just because I wont be able to go to the city when I'm in Keningau then my footprints or rather shoe prints were all over the place especially the malls during this hols. Its not much but have a feast for the eyes as the pictures will speak for themselves.

Night Trip ( sort of)

When Im here I always bring the kids to Kota Kinabalu city with my sis and mum leaving dad at home as he doesnt like all of us roaming in the malls from day to night time. He said that all the malls seem much the same during the day and night and doesnt tell the time..(nda pandai malam) But what I like about dad is that he just said be careful when driving and to take really care of the kids. So we went and have a peek at 1Borneo as everyone is talking about this new hypermall in the city and I didnt want to be left behind ;)

Journey Home aka Balik Kampung

A bit silence in blog cabin, access to the net was quite slow in my parent's but luckily today tried to log in the afternoon and manage to break up the stillness. Went back to Papar on the 21st November with the kids and here are some pics I took during the journey. It was a down and up hill journey by Kimanis Road, a normal situation for locals here which can create dizziness if one not use to.

Me a Poet..

Geez I'm feeling lucky today, firstly for the school holiday and secondly for having my two poems rated at 8/10..for a simple person like me being rated at 8 is the best achievement so far. I always like poetry and during college time I wrote my book of poetry but never have the nerve to publish it to public. Its just a secret poetry book on monkey love, stressed life in college, nature and life. Me a poet..haha, never thought that my MIL poem will be rated at 8, MIL you make my day! Not that much of a poem, but I'm happy as happy as a clam..

Finally School Holiday but..

YAY at last, school holiday is here from 15th Nov-2nd January 2009, still have some activities in school for two days on 17-18th Nov 08. Next Thursday or Friday I will be spending my holidays with my kids at my parent's house. Hope the internet connection there is fine else I will be heading to cybercafe for good to get rid of this addiction on blogging. If by chance I'm neglecting my blog, blame that for the connection. Just need to have some luck on financial. Money-money should be funny in the rich man's world..there I go again with wild imagination..

10 Fast ways to save $

Observing someone on ways to save $ fast..

1) be frugal (is that the word?) in everything, small portion of anything and a dab of something out of anything, dab of make ups, dab of clothes, shoes, bags, and live life like owning expensive stuffs..

2) avoid anything to be wasted, if there's a candy in the fridge even its one or two months old eat it, or give someone or a kid to finish it, forget the outcomes, it will tells..if nothing occurs then its fine, if somethings up then there's always the pharmacy to buy medication, forget the docs, the parents will tend to that..

3) wear clothes until its color faded or someone points something about it, be it negative then buy a new one but from the flea market,avoid the boutiques, be it positive wear it till it worn out.

4) go for the hit and run shopping, only buy something that's on your list, avoid anything glitters like the salesgirl shirt hinting a sale, remind yourself your bucks on your account will increase if buying only what is needed.

5) be on diet , be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, wait until you feel the dizziness of fainting then hit for the stove, cook large portions so that you will not be eating for days, that's thumbs up for the savings.

6) avoid bank loans, it will only makes you a hangman, you know that game? is it connected? figure it out..

7) avoid anything unnecessarily, live life as it is, don't follow the trend, but act like you are following if someone asks.

7) acted a nerd if you have to or you already destined to be one..

8) if someone asks you about your savings, just cut off their word by forming a gruesome face and pumpkin face if you have to..

9) buy cheap food and everything in small portion and use it for 1-2 months, even better if it can be used until 3.

10) stay at home and don't get out, being out from the home only signing a disaster for your savings, thus create a nest in your room, room sweet room..:p

The 10 ways above are based on my observation on someone and nothing but the truth. Any privacy policies and ways design aims to make these things clear are prohibited. Morale of the story don't make trouble for others while you are making yourself a diamond and air conditioned coffin to prepare the malls on heaven..

Thoughts + Imagination dot dot dot

Like this kind of hour on Sunday, at 10 minutes to 1 noon, I just had my lunch with hubby and kids. Morning has gone with busy house chores, and now they're all busying themselves mostly with playing internet kids games for the kid, other times watching TV sticking to Disney channel all the time and PSP games. Finish with that, hubby will always go down wasting his time at the backyard gardening, gardening and gardening..and myself got all the time surfing the net, from reading blogs by siblings, friends and those that fascinate me like local celebrities gossips as well as international celebrities, not that much knowledge gaining, but hey Im polishing my other language right.. (self defense)..

From the place where Im hoping my future house will be build and now in progress to the green lush of the backyard calming the sometimes stressing mind to the time where 18 years back when I was posted as trained teacher to a rural school about 1 and a half journey from my place, I think these are some of my wishes to remember :

1. Well I have three to four nicknames.. Two from home, dad and my siblings call me Nong, and my mum calls me Len, my friends call me Flo sometimes Rene, Rin. Either way its still me Flo on the go :)

2. I have a passion in playing music instrument although never ends any with any grade, just play the instruments with kampung2 style. Musical instruments that I can play are guitar, keyboard, piano, recorder, mouth organ@harmonica.. These are my instruments but never have the time to play for long, except for the piano, I played it on the keyboard using the piano mode.

3. Actually I like to paint but now with workload, I'm not sure about my skills. My first drawing was shown on a tv programme with Kakak Ann, I forgot the name, and my drawing was a scenery of rubber tappers tapping rubber trees.. Proud Huh ! yes ..at the age of 10 -11. I can't recall anymore. Whats more I got paid from it..MYR5 for each displayed drawings on tv. Managed to have some pocket money from it. MyR5 was quite a money for me at that age and at that time..

4. I don't like mess, and this means tidy and organized, but with kids around, that cant be help. Sometimes a mess will only delay my routine work. So you see I hate mess.

5. I'm impatient and when something I plan is already planned, I want to get it done and finish it and enjoy the labor of getting it and live with it. Once in a life time.

6. I dont like the color green but I admire the green surroundings and green eyes, reminds me of witches in tales.

7. I don't like being controlled of my life.

8. I like travelling seeing other world and places before I die that means if I have the chance and big bucks...erk.

9. I dont like to offence others by words and if happens Im out of controlled that means the other party is the first to start it. I like sweet revenge too in my own way haha.

10. Found blooging as one of the ways to pouring out whats from the hearts..

11. Wow now that's make 10, I thought I have finish, really is hard to get another 5 eh, now the 11th will be like watching horror movies, crimes and murder stories, comedy ones is another option.

12. Enjoy the time flies with books, now cant really find enough as most were given to the kids and home.

13. Was once an active Church choir member in the 90s.

I hate "Doubtful Promise"

What is a PROMISE?

A promise which is also called troth is a physchological contract indicating a transaction between two persons whereby the first person undertakes in the future to render some service or gift to the second person or devotes something valuable now and here to his or her use. A promise may also refer to any kind of vow or guarantee.(credits to wikipedia)
In my simple words 'promise' is something that you give to someone to expect and that someone is hoping by the promise you gave. No matter big or small your promise is, it really matters if the other person is already hoping and wishing something from it. How if you failed to meet the promise? Do you say sorry? or do you think the person you gave promise to, doesnt have the heart and brains to think that you are a promiser but a fake one and is hopeless..
Do you promise someone today? do you manage to fulfill it, or just goes on and on promising your heart out but breaking it every minutes pass by? That's the fact that I just don't like to promise, if knowing that by chances any unknown circumstances would break out the made up promise. If I made a promise , I will make sure that if the promise is not fulfilled, I will apologized heartedly and meant it ,else you are not gaining any respect and believe again from someone that trusted you from the start.
Its not the promise that matters, its the respect and faith you have placed it on someone. You lose it, you lose respect and believe from them, when you lose them, you lose friends and when you are losing friends, you are alone..Man cannot live alone..Thats why God made Eve for Adam.
Respect and be careful what you promise today!
