Poem and Thoughts

I got this poem somewhere from the net.  You can access the link below for more :
I used to read this some time ago in my early teaching days which I forgot when but it is still clear in mind only that several phrases I have forgotten as it was quite sometime ago.  Now this is something to ponder about the ways how one should  raise their children.
The first paragraph was meant for the negative teaching and how it effects the child and the latter is, yes the positive one.
If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight
If a child lives with fear, he learns to be apprehensive
If a child lives with pity, he learns to feel sorry for himself
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy
If a child lives with jealousy, he learns to feel guilt
b  u  t
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns to be confident
If a child lives with praise, he learns to be appreciative
If a child lives with acceptance, he learns to love
If a child lives with honesty, he learns what truth is
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith in himself and those about him
If a child lives with friendliness, he learns the world is a nice place in which to live
If you live with serenity, your child will live with peace of mind

What life did you lead when you were a child and what life your child is living now?

Hi Tanvi, thanks for favouring my blog. Yes you are right, I keep on thinking about my issues as well, and thinking how it effects my being the present day.
