Tattoo Freaks..

One of the days when Emerald is a tattoo freak..
its on her left leg..looks like her arm.
(picture consists of a kungfu panda, a praying mantis, an eagle  and a dragon)
The finish...with a milk bottle and a suplement vit on her side..
The tattoo was actually a free  instant tattoo sticker from an instant noodle curry known as the Maggi mee, Maggi company should give me a pay as I'm promoting their noodles here.. She stick with the tattoo for days until I beg her to wipe it off with baby oil for Im afraid the sticker will not be removed if its sticks on that long ...Mum worries..

Busy Days, an Independence and a break

Back to school and more work..that's the fact of life right..Everyone is busy doing something to continue treating life as it is...After five days in school, busy with monthly tests and pupils work to be checked and has no time lounging around here but manage to snap some pictures to highlight my days events, finally tomorrow Malaysia will be celebrating its 51st  Independence day which means adding a day to rest since it falls on Sunday and makes Monday a public holiday..
tried to mark the pupils work in class, notice the folding edge of the books, announcing Year 1 or Grade 1 exercise books...
Monthly Test Papers to deal with....

Year 1 doing their test..notice its like ordinary class work eh!
Anyway within the packed routine of my daily life, manage to take some pictures of Keningau rehearsal parade for the big day which falls on 31st August 2008. I took the pictures while waiting to do the roundabout turn with my hp thus the pictures were not so clear..

Happy Independence Day or Selamat Hari Merdeka semua....

Hope for the day....

Woke up today with the fogs still in the air with the morning sunrise...

....I always have the desire for traveling but to fulfill it now to a hundred percent timing, just only make it to ...say 10%..so little.. yet so much hope huh! Today is the last school hols and tomorrow I'll be facing Monday Blues and noisy students again..traveling during the break? I guess I've made it by having surfs and dives around my little haven here.. Nothing much to do except for heating the ass by sitting for hours facing the screen..I wish it would rain so that I can listen to the rhythm of the falling rain..

Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain...

Under the Longan Tree

This picture reminds me of the song under the lemon tree..
For in this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.' Hubby planted the tree and Darrell plucking the fruits.
This was a common proverb, growing out of constant human experience, true of worldly and spiritual things. How often has the preacher sowed, and then the evangelist has reaped in meeting the results! How many times I found myself remembering the old days when I was so much into the church's activity, and being so heavily lazy to get myself to the church services nowadays...
Quoting Luke 13:30 "And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last."
I have to bear that in mind that this is not about "The last Man Standing"...

Commercial Break..

Just take a look when someone gets drunk..

love this video, I watch it over and over, never gets bored. For your info, the man is speaking in multilingual- Mandarin, Tamil, Thai and Tagalog..
its tickling..

After the Exam....

Hmmm after my exam I have my hair cut ending up with the length that i didn't approve, yet have to, force to.... put up with..sigh...Then I went to have lunch ending with this dish..I was so hungry that I didn't know that if the noodles were good enough but manage to give it a burp and a snap to remind me 'lunch after the cut'..

As always when I logged in here, I realized from the start that everyone's blogs are so interesting and knowledge friendly, mine is..self pity huh!! But I don't care if everyone is doing the same ,then I want to be different in my corner, excuse me.. not a geek okay..I think I want to change this blog's title to whatever journal..only I still give myself a chance to update it with my daily living stories..hope to catch with an interesting title sooner or else I just have to put up with it..

About my friend's newborn, its a boy.Congratulations to her family. Hoping to catch a snap of the baby soon.

Olympic Silver Medal For Malaysia

Chong Wei was defeated by Lin Dan in the men singles final 12-21, 8-21 at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium last night.

Anyway its the first olympic silver medal for Malaysia after 12 years of medal draught. What I could say that Chong Wei has done his best, has made it to the final and hope that future young people will be inspired with his success.

A very big CONGRATS to him.....

Hope for Malaysia...

Chong Wei sets up title clash against Lin Dan

LEE Chong Wei made history when he became the first Malaysian badminton singles player to reach an Olympic final at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium last night. (Aug 15th)

The 26-year-old made sure Malaysia will return home with at least a silver medal after barren outings at the last two Olympics by battling past South Korean Lee Hyun-il 21-18, 13-21, 21-13 in the semi-finals.

Chong Wei has now bettered Rashid Sidek’s bronze medal achievement at the Atlanta Games in 1996..
Go Chong Wei Go..Go get the medal...

Full Moon..

Today is Aug 17th and it is suppose to be the full moon phase.  This picture was taken in June 2008 and I regard it as one of my lucky day to have another nature picture of my own.  The full moon as I 've read has been linked to crime, suicide, mental illness, disasters, accidents, birthrates, fertility, and werewolves, among other things.  Though werewolves are not common here in my place,  studies done have failed to show a reliable and significant correlation between the full moon, or any other phase of the moon. If that so, why do so many people believe in these lunar myths? Kelly, Rotton, and Culver suspect four factors: media effects, folklore and tradition, misconceptions, and cognitive biases. A fifth factor should be considered, as well: communal reinforcement.  Just my two cents quoting Kelly, Rotton and Culver's....

After the rain....

Just wanna put this picture after the rain, few weeks ago.  There was an awesome rainbow that reminds me of chasing the rainbow by someone...who might that be? ...  Old folks do believe that somewhere by the end of the rainbow there are fairies.  Like the fairies on the Faraway Tree in Enid Blyton's book, my favourite author when I was small and still until now..The awesome rainbow didnt last for long, when the sunshine appeared it was gone, forming another sign somewhere in the world..Somewhere in the Bible stated "  "I do set my bow in the cloud, .... and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh" (Gen 9:13,15)The glory of God is likened to "the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain" (Ezek 1:28).  I was fortunate to to get this rainbow picture of my own..

D and E

Hehe Short for Darrell n Emerald.  Darrell is Oyoi and Emerald is Baby, she's the one invented the name.  Both like to surf computer games on the net, sometimes fighting with their mom to get the best place available.  They can only pose for nice picture in half minute, the second pic both already felt itchy to move away from the shot.

Latest Emerald...

These are the latest pics of her.  Check it out.

Break Time!!!!

Anyway, today is Yahoo with a BIG Y...........School is closed for one week!!!Enough for me to nestle here in my nest ....

Routine Chores...sigh..

Endless Clothes to fold

As usual these are the most important things to get done every early morning. Procrastination only double and triple the quantities ......sigh sigh sigh

Two Busy Bees..........

These are two busy bees during the day while their momma doing summersaults chores around the house..

Wish being a kid sometimes, have a day all bymyself under the sun travelling seven heaven....

shopping 24/7

Day Dreaming reminds me of
Somewhere in My Memory

Candles in the window
Shadows painting the ceiling
Gazing at the fire glow
Feeling that gingerbread feeling

Precious moments
Special People
Happy faces
I can see.

Somewhere in my memory
Christmas joys all around me
Living in my memory
All of the music
All of the magic
All of the family home here with me

sighed..........

Von Voyage-Phyllicia T.

The Last Day for one of the relief teacher in school, a crowd of pupils turned her into a celeb asking for phone numbers and autographs I think. Tears were shed and cryings were heard quoting other teachers' saying "Good Teacher will be hard to let go"..Reminds me of memories from two schools that I ve left years ago.............

Auld Lang Syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
And here's a hand, my trusty friend
And gie's a hand o' thine
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
Only pictures remain....

Loves Friday...with school hols way ahead there will be time to lazy around, and to complete today's routine as usual rushing to finish the chores and cook for lunch. Managed to prepare, ginseng meat soup and mix brinjal and beef so to speak.
